Zen Interactive Technologies has been appointed a distributor for eZon in the UAE and GCC. eZon’s audio-visual and infrastructure lines are supplied from Dubai, and Zen exhibits with eZon at regional events.
eZon’s range has two halves. The AV line covers interactive flat panels for classrooms and meeting rooms, video walls, advertising and kiosk displays, mobile conference terminals, ruggedised tablets and the Fiberlink range of active optical cables that carry HDMI, DisplayPort and USB over distances copper cannot. The infrastructure line covers structured cabling, intercom and access control, parking systems and building automation – the physical layer that every other system in a building depends on.
Zen supplies both lines to integrators, contractors and resellers from Dubai, with the eZon AV range listed alongside the collaboration hardware from Yealink, Nearity and OneScreen, and the eZon infrastructure range alongside Cluvix UPS, cooling and racks and Teltonika networking. A contractor can source the cabling, the access control, the displays and the equipment that sits on them from one distributor on one delivery.
The pace of fit-outs in the region puts pressure on the infrastructure layer because it is invisible at handover. A distributor that carries both the infrastructure and the equipment above it has a reason to get both right.
