Zen appointed authorised distributor for Dinstar

Zen Interactive Technologies has been appointed an authorised distributor for Dinstar in the UAE and GCC. Dinstar’s VoIP gateways, session border controllers, IP PBX systems and intercoms are stocked in Dubai and sized by Zen for its partners’ projects.

About Dinstar

Dinstar has built VoIP gateways for two decades and its range covers every way a modern IP phone system connects to the old world. FXS gateways keep analogue phones, fax machines and door phones working as extensions of an IP PBX. FXO gateways connect analogue carrier lines as trunks and provide a fallback path. Digital gateways connect ISDN PRI circuits to SIP for migrations and for organisations that keep a PRI. GSM and LTE gateways route calls over the mobile network for cost, redundancy or sites without fixed lines, and provide SMS through an API. Session border controllers secure SIP trunks at the network edge. Dinstar also makes IP PBX systems, SIP intercoms and enterprise IP phones.

What Zen provides

Zen holds the popular FXS, FXO, GSM and digital gateway models in Dubai, sizes port and channel counts from a customer’s requirement, and supplies the gateways together with the 3CX licences and the handsets they connect. Warranty is handled locally.

Why it matters

Very few organisations move to IP telephony in one step. Hotels with hundreds of analogue room phones, offices with a PRI the carrier will not switch off for a year, sites that need a GSM fallback – all need a gateway, and Dinstar’s range and price point make one realistic for every project.
