Zen Interactive Technologies has been appointed a distributor for 3CX in the UAE and GCC. The agreement brings the 3CX software phone system to Zen’s reseller and integrator network, alongside the handsets and gateways that 3CX supports.
3CX is a software-based IP PBX that runs on a standard server, a virtual machine or in the cloud. It provides the telephony features a business uses every day – extensions, call queues, IVR, voicemail to email, call recording – together with video conferencing, website live chat and mobile and desktop apps, all in one licence. Licensing is by simultaneous calls rather than by user, which makes it economical for organisations with many lightly used extensions. 3CX is one of the most widely deployed unified communications platforms in the region.
Zen supplies 3CX licences in all editions and, in the same order, the Yealink, Snom and Fanvil handsets that auto-provision from 3CX and the Dinstar gateways that connect it to analogue, PSTN, GSM and ISDN lines. For resellers this removes the usual gap between the software vendor and the hardware supplier: one distributor, one delivery, one support contact. Zen provides first-line technical support from Dubai, deal registration for partners, and help with sizing the simultaneous-call licence from a customer’s actual call statistics.
3CX suits the mid-market in the GCC particularly well: it can be hosted in a UAE cloud region for data residency, it runs on hardware most companies already have, it integrates with Microsoft 365 and mainstream CRMs, and its licensing model rewards the organisations – hotels, clinics, schools, retail chains – that have many phones and modest concurrent call volumes.
See the 3CX page for the editions and the supported hardware, or contact Zen for a trial licence.
