Yealink’s video conferencing range has grown from USB cameras to complete room systems certified for Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms, and it covers every room size from a phone booth to an auditorium. For organisations equipping rooms for hybrid work, it offers a consistent family of devices that are managed from one platform. This article walks through the range and how to specify rooms with it.
The product families
- Video bars – all-in-one units with camera, microphones, speakers and compute (Android-based, running Teams or Zoom natively, or in USB mode for any platform). Mount under the display; connect power and network; done. Models scale from huddle rooms to mid-size rooms.
- Room kits – a compute unit, a camera, a touch controller and audio devices for medium and large rooms, certified for Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms.
- USB cameras and speakerphones – bring-your-own-device rooms where a laptop connects with one cable to a camera and a speakerphone.
- PTZ and multi-camera systems – for boardrooms, training rooms and auditoriums, with speaker tracking and ceiling microphones.
- Touch controllers and scheduling panels – one-touch join in the room, and a booking panel outside it.

Native or USB?
A native Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms device gives one-touch join, calendar integration, a consistent interface and central management through the platform’s admin console. It is the right choice for organisations standardised on one platform. USB mode, where the device is a camera and speaker for whatever laptop is connected, is the right choice for rooms that host many platforms or for guest-heavy spaces. Yealink’s video bars support both, and can switch.
Management
Yealink’s device management platform monitors every room device – status, firmware, call quality – from one console, and Teams devices also appear in the Teams admin centre. Faults are seen before users report them; firmware is updated in a maintenance window across all rooms.
Design details that matter
Camera at eye level, centred on the display. Microphones where the people are; add table or ceiling mics for rooms over eight. A wired network for the room device. Display size for the furthest viewer. A USB-C cable at the table for guests. Room acoustics: soft surfaces on at least one wall. A scheduling panel at the door – Yealink’s own, or a Joan e-paper display.
Pairing with the rest of the room
Zen distributes the interactive displays from OneScreen and eZon that pair with Yealink room systems, the Joan booking displays, and the Hush Pod meeting pods that a small video bar turns into a video room. A complete room comes from one distributor.
Yealink video through Zen
Zen Interactive Technologies distributes Yealink in the UAE and GCC, with video bars, room kits, cameras and controllers available from Dubai. We can specify rooms by size and platform and support the reseller or integrator installing them. See the Yealink page.
