The IP phone market has many brands and prices, and it is easy to assume that a phone is a phone. Security that is taken seriously
An IP phone is a computer on the network with a microphone. Snom treats it as one. The phones support TLS for signalling, SRTP for media, 802.1X for network access, secure provisioning and VPN. Snom phones are standards-based SIP endpoints. They work with 3CX, with other IP PBX platforms and with carrier-hosted services, and they can be moved between them. The handsets, cradles and keys are designed for years of daily use. Firmware support runs for the life of the product. Replacement parts and accessories remain available. The total cost of a Snom phone over a decade is lower than that of a cheaper phone replaced twice, and the disruption of a replacement cycle is avoided.

Wideband audio, well-engineered handsets and speakerphones, and consistent tuning across the range. Call quality is what users judge a phone system by, and it starts with the handset.
