Al Amaal School set out to promote interactive learning across its campus by equipping teachers with technology that could complement their existing teaching methods. The school implemented 7 eZon Interactive Flat Panels across selected classrooms, with further expansion planned.
The initiative was designed to help teachers bring digital content, visual resources, presentations and interactive explanations together in one classroom environment.
Before the implementation, classrooms relied on traditional whiteboards and conventional teaching methods.
While teachers could deliver their lessons effectively, integrating digital content into everyday classroom activities was an opportunity for improvement. Teachers needed an easier way to present PowerPoint presentations, explain content directly on screen and annotate materials while teaching.
The school was looking for a solution that would bridge the gap between traditional teaching and interactive digital learning without taking away from the teacher’s existing way of delivering lessons.
To support this transition, Al Amaal School deployed eZon Interactive Flat Panels in selected classrooms, supplied and supported by Zen Interactive Technologies.
The panels give teachers a central platform for delivering lessons and working with digital content. Teachers can connect laptops and mobile devices, access web-based resources, display presentations and work with different types of learning materials directly on the screen.
With 7 panels already deployed and further expansion planned, eZon has become part of the school’s broader move toward technology-enabled learning.
The value of an interactive flat panel becomes most apparent when it is part of everyday teaching. Teachers are using the eZon panels to move beyond simply displaying content and instead interact with lesson materials while they teach.
Teachers display PowerPoint presentations and other digital lesson materials directly on the panel while explaining concepts in real time.
Teachers write, highlight, draw and annotate directly over presentations and other educational materials, so explanations happen alongside the content.
The interactive environment supports subjects such as physics and chemistry, where teachers use visual and digital resources to explain concepts and topics.
Teachers bring content from laptops, mobile devices and web links into the classroom, giving them greater flexibility in selecting and presenting learning resources.
The eZon Interactive Flat Panels have given Al Amaal School additional flexibility in how lessons are delivered and how digital resources are incorporated into classroom activities.
Most importantly, the panels support the school’s objective of moving toward more interactive learning, giving teachers the ability to combine digital content, presentation, annotation and explanation in a single classroom setup. With 7 panels deployed and further expansion planned, the implementation is an ongoing step in the school’s digital transformation.
The school plans to continue expanding its use of interactive technology, building on the current deployment and working toward a more modern, connected and interactive learning environment across the campus.
